Nuclear Fusion Simulator (D-T Reaction)

Concept: This simulation demonstrates Deuterium-Tritium (D-T) nuclear fusion. High temperature (kinetic energy) and density are needed for nuclei to fuse, releasing energy.

Particle Key:

Particle brightness/speed indicates kinetic energy.

How to Use:

  1. Toggle Controls: Use "Show/Hide Controls" button (bottom-left) for parameters.
  2. View (3D Area): Mouse/touch (Orbit, Pan, Zoom).
  3. Adjust Parameters (in Controls Panel):
    • Init Temp: Starting energy of D & T fuel.
    • Density: Number of initial D & T particles.
    • Fusion Barrier: Energy threshold for fusion.
    • Energy Loss: Rate of cooling/radiation.
    • Sim Speed: Simulation time progression.
    • Confinement: Wall behavior (Reflect/Escape).
  4. Heating: 'Add Energy' (in Controls) gives particles an energy boost.
  5. Run: Press 'Start Sim'. Observe collisions.
  6. Fusion: D + T → He + n + Energy (visual flash).
  7. Control: 'Pause', 'Reset Sim', 'Instructions' (all in Controls Panel).
